“This was my second visit to My Lash at Kovan. I actually like the service here, and my therapist Tina is friendly and provides good service. I initially chose this outlet because the location is convenient for me, and I had also read several reviews mentioning that there was no hard selling. Unfortunately, my experience has been quite different. After my very first lash lift session, I was asked to sign up for a package. I declined the larger package that was offered, but was then offered a smaller and more affordable one, which I eventually agreed to. Today was my second visit and I thought that since I already had a package, I could simply enjoy my treatment. During the session, I was asked to top up $30 for an LED light treatment, which I agreed to. However, after the session, I was again encouraged to purchase another package costing $900+. After I declined, I was offered fewer sessions at a lower price, which I also declined. I could sense the disappointment after I said no. I don’t blame Tina personally, as I understand that she may simply be doing her job and, as mentioned, her service itself has been good. However, as a customer, I really don’t enjoy having to repeatedly reject package offers after my treatments. There are so many beauty and lash options available nowadays. Good service makes customers want to return, but repeated pressure to purchase additional packages can unfortunately have the opposite effect. At this point, I just hope to finish my existing package, and I don’t think I will return after that.”
