“Used to enjoy coming here, their standard used to be consistent among all lash techs so I didn’t really have to request for anyone in specific. When I came here in July, I was served by a chinese speaking lash tech who introduced herself as zhenzhen. When I asked her about the curl and how many D it would be for the design I chose, her answers were quite uncertain. So I decided to ask if she was new, she said “oh from taiseng outlet”. That outlet just opened btw so I was abit confused. Anyway, she went on to do my lashes and the whole process of took under an hour. I was quite surprised cause based on my past few years of experience coming here, the lash techs have never been this fast (which is fine, cause the lashes always end up looking nice and lasting). I woke up, took a look and noticed that the lashes were slightly messy but took off anyway as I had a flight to catch after that, thinking I could just comb it out/ apply coating myself. ^Attached photo from same day, right after appt. Tried anyway and it was still messy and decided to write in to CS to let them know and they kindly offered a free touchup by another lash tech, Vera (she has done my lashes before and has been here for afew years). By the time I went down for the touch up a week later, my lashes were alr left with 50%. After that, it was all good and they ended up holding up nicely for afew weeks too. Last week I went again and had the appointment booked under same lash tech again, not knowing Jane was her english name and the other lash techs were away/booked. I thought “okay usually their lash techs are of similar standard” so I’ll just try again since I had to get it done for an event. When I went to the store and found out it was her again, I just told myself maybe it would be fine since I wasn’t doing any design this round. Again, she took less than an hour. And this time I woke up with the residue from the undereye patch in my waterline in both eyes cause I think she stuck it too far up. She cleaned it hastily even though I was asking her to wait a little as my eyes were starting to tear up since she was using the cotton bud to rub against the waterline below my lashes. Anyway, the lashes looked decent and more balanced this time and I just left. There was abit of a pokey feeling from the extensions but I figured it would go away. Few days later, I still felt it and I found out that it was cause some of the lashes were clustered together and so it was causing some discomfort. I tugged it out as it was irritating my eye. That was only 1 of the clusters as there were afew on both sides. Took a photo and sent it to them and they just told me to come back down for another touch up. I decided to remove the whole set elsewhere since they charged $20 for removal. I’m not sure if their standard changed or what but as a long time customer who used to enjoy coming here, I think I would think twice now before booking and only come here if Vera / Jennis / Myi available. Also, they did use one of my photos (full face) to sell their tiktok vouchers without letting me know. They just sharpened my features slightly and used the photo. That’s all.”
