“A huge part of what makes a salon good is how they communicate with client to give us what we want realistically. This is really hard to do bc everyone has different hair texture, condition, and ideas of what they want. baited by unrealistic nice photos on social media, i used to go to other salons and always disappointed with the result after spending hundreds of dollars. my friend introduced me to Mimosa salon last year and i have not looked back! I have gone to Mimosa three times so far. They are more pricey, but the stylists manage your expectation well so you walk out happy. In my experience, the result is always good and most importantly: long lasting. my hair doesn't look terrible 6-8 months later when the roots have grown out. I have tried both Olivia (director) and senior stylist Royson, Sasha, Damon. I would say the result is consistent in terms of quality. But Olivia is better at managing your expectation and giving recommendations based on your hair texture. if you're a newbie at coloring hair or don't really know what you want then she is worth the premium! But if I want to save some money then I go for the senior stylists. Haircut by both Leng and Damon are really good too!”
