“I’m leaving this review because I genuinely hope that the next time I come in, my request will be remembered and taken seriously. I’ve been coming here at least every other month for the past two years for eyebrow threading, yet somehow my specific request still doesn’t seem to be remembered. Every time I come in, I explain very clearly that I only want the hair above my eyelids threaded and that I want the naturally bushy part of my eyebrows left alone. I’m always told that they understand. The staff are always very patient and kind, and I appreciate that. However, the inconsistency is honestly becoming really upsetting. There have been times when I’ve taken the extra effort to explain that I’ve been trying to grow my eyebrows back after something like today happened and I literally had to wait over two months for them to grow back. So there have been times when my request was followed correctly. But other times, it isn’t. This time, I’m extremely disappointed because I’m the one who has to live with the result. I now have to look at myself in the mirror every day and remind myself that my eyebrows will eventually grow back. But it isn’t as simple as that. I’ll probably have to wait over two months for them to grow back to where they were, and that genuinely affects how I feel about my appearance in the meantime. I’m not writing this to be difficult or unreasonable. I’m writing it because eyebrows are part of someone’s face, and something that may seem like a small mistake to the person threading can actually have a much bigger emotional impact on the customer. I’m not someone who usually confronts people or complains, because I know there’s nothing that can be done now, my eyebrows are already gone. But I’m finally leaving this review because I can’t keep coming in and getting different outcomes every time, especially after I’ve clearly explained what I want and been told that they understand. Please listen carefully to customers’ requests, especially when they are specific about what they do and do not want removed. If there is any uncertainty, please double-check with the customer before threading. You are dealing with real people, all with different preferences, sensitivities and emotional states. I keep coming back because I’ve had good experiences here, and the staff are genuinely very nice. I just hope this feedback means that the next time I visit, my request will be remembered and handled with more care.”
