“Signed up for a package in August and only attended one session before being informed, with two days’ notice in Nov, that the location would be moved to Yishun. The contract stated services would be at Holland Village, which was the main reason I signed up. When I asked for a refund as the new location is not feasible for me, I was told the contract has a strict no-refund policy. I was offered extra sessions at the new location, but the venue change remains an issue. Communication was also not very smooth, as I had to follow up several times and one call was cut while I was trying to clarify my enquiry. Hope the handling of such situations and communication can be improved.”

“Overdue review - I enjoyed the facials & hair removal methods at the salon as it used to be effective and they had a relaxing atmosphere but since the noise from the gaming arcade came about I will no longer be visiting as it is not worth my time or money. I get facials done not just for complexion but also as a means of relaxation. I provided by feedback sometime in June but there has been no change since. I have requested for a refund on my last session and will no longer be patronising.”

“I’m currently undergoing Platinum Pro hair removal for my underarms and legs. Can be quite pricey but after five sessions, I’ve noticed that hair growth has slowed quite a bit and is now appearing in uneven patches. Some of my older scars are also gradually lightening, which has been a welcome improvement. My underarms are still quite dark but certain areas of my underarms seem to have lightened. I just got a new aesthetician, Selvi, who explained that pigmentation takes time to fade. She’s been very patient and informative, always taking the time to answer my questions clearly and ensuring I understand each step of the process. I also appreciate that she gradually increases the energy level based on my skin’s sensitivity, which makes the sessions more comfortable. Occasionally, I feel a quick, ant bite-like sensation especially in areas with thick, ingrown hairs which Selvi explained is normal as the laser targets deeper, coarser follicles. Overall, it feels reassuring to be in the hands of a knowledgeable aesthetician!”
