“I visited the Serangoon outlet on 5 October at 6pm for a Rejuran treatment (under the name of Megan). I was previously an existing customer at the Orchard Gateway outlet, but unfortunately had to look for an alternative outlet after it closed. The treatment itself was fine (administered by Dr Ong), but I was quite disappointed by what happened immediately after my session. The staff shared an ongoing promotion with me, which I was completely fine with. However, despite me declining, the sales pitch continued repeatedly. At one point, I had three staff members around me trying to persuade me to purchase additional Rejuran sessions, even though I had already said no. I then asked to confirm my next appointment for Botox. I had screenshots showing that the appointment had already been confirmed via WA, but I was told there was no appointment reflected. While the staff were checking on this, the sales pitch for additional treatments continued, which I found very unnecessary and uncomfortable, especially after I had already declined multiple times. Having previously visited the Orchard Gateway outlet, I never experienced this level of sales pressure and service level there, so this visit was particularly disappointing. I understand that promotions are part of the business, and I have no issue with staff sharing them, but a customer’s “no” should be respected without repeated persuasion from multiple staff members. I have since rescheduled my next appointment to the Toa Payoh outlet instead. I hope the management can look into the customer experience at the Serangoon outlet, particularly around respecting customers when they decline additional purchases.”
