“Dr Kan is warm, pleasant, empathetic and skilled as a doctor. Greatly appreciated that she heard my concerns but also offered her clinical input as well as time spent in the first consult with me. She had laid out the options of treatment for me transparently. However I have had several issues with the clinic staff fumbling over the scheduling of my appointments, and this has affected my experience of the clinic as a whole. First I was sent a message via WhatsApp with the incorrect time of my treatment. After the treatment was done and I had scheduled a follow-up appointment, and turned up at the follow-up, the clinic staff told me “actually you don’t have an appointment today right?” I was appalled as I had saved the details in my calendar and shocked that they would tell me I had no appointment. Do I go home since I was already there? Why would a frontline clinic staff tell a patient that they had no appointment? Are you expecting the patient to go home? I checked through my WhatsApp conversation history with the clinic and saw that I had asked/enquired about a consult with Dr Kan for my mother on the same day of my follow up. Later I told them my mother could not make it. They had mistakenly removed my follow-up appointment completely from their booking. There is much to be improved in the area of ensuring correct appointment details and clarification with patients. Otherwise, Dr Kan is great.”

“Dr. Kan has been instrumental in helping me deal with a difficult skin challenge. I developed shingles two years ago, which unfortunately left a deep red scar about 1.5 to 2 inches long across my left cheek. I was devastated and felt very self-conscious.
