“A RELAXING HEAD MASSAGE, BUT THE CONSTANT HARD SELL MAKES ME NEVER WANT TO RETURN. The massage is great, the environment is nice, and the therapists let you relax in peace. Unfortunately, the hard selling ruins the entire experience. Every visit comes with pressure to buy $3,000+ packages, even when your existing package hasn’t been fully used. Here is how the experience usually goes: First, you are brought into a room for a scalp analysis. After that, the staff will recommend an additional $80 hair treatment, which is displayed on the top shelves of the scalp analysis room. During the actual massage, the experience is genuinely relaxing. The therapists do not try to engage you in conversation, allowing you to rest and enjoy the treatment in peace. However, once the massage ends, the hard selling begins again. If you decline to purchase a package, they may suggest paying a $200 reservation fee first, with the remaining package balance to be paid during your next visit. This isn’t about a particular therapist — it seems to be their sales culture. To be fair, the environment is pleasant, the head massage is fairly good. These were the reasons I purchased my first package in the first place. It’s honestly anxiety-inducing to return when all I want is a relaxing massage, not another sales battle just to leave without spending more money.”
