“[ I regretted not checking the google review before I make my visit. ] TDLR: $550 spent and ended up with bad hair! After much thought, I feel I should share my honest experience with this salon. I visited twice, first for a haircut and colour, then for a C-curl perm. The colour was fine, but the haircut was disappointing. I expected the director to recommend a style that suited my face shape, but nothing. Even when I asked for his professional advice, the only suggestions were to go shorter and add layers. No elaboration, no personalised design nothing like advertised. The hair looked decent after he blow-dried it into curls, but once I washed and blow-dried it myself, the poor layering became obvious. The layers were blocky, uneven, and lacked smooth blending. (See last pic) I returned for a C-curl perm, hoping it would improve the overall shape. The perm alone cost SGD 360, excluding treatments, so I expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, the curls were inconsistent, with some sections overly curled and others almost straight. Combined with the poorly blended layers, the overall shape was unflattering. What also surprised me was that the director did not seem to remember me or the hair assessment he had done just a week earlier, when he had recommended the perm himself. I have had C-curl perms many times before, so I understand the difference between a good result and a poor one. I chose this salon based on the results showcased on its Instagram, but the actual outcome fell far short of those expectations. In total, I spent around SGD 550 and ended up with subpar hair. A painful lesson in not placing too much trust in advertised results. The only silver lining? At least there was no GST. Ultimately, the issue isn’t simply that I dislike the hairstyle. It’s the lack of technical precision in the cutting and perming, especially at this price point. Unfortunately, the actual workmanship did not reflect the premium positioning or advertised results of the salon. I seriously do not know where the good reviews came about. Not coming back.”

“Did my perm at their salon a month ago. Prior to that I did an expensive treatment as I was advised that my hair was too dry to take on a perm. After perming, I noticed that it was uneven, with one side curlier and another side almost straight, with curls only at the ends of my hair. I was told that it was because my hair blowing technique was not the same as theirs… now my hair ends are curling in strange directions. If they weren’t confident maybe they should’ve just rejected my perm request instead of making me go through an expensive treatment followed by waiting for another month to do a perm. Also, don’t believe in the face trimming hair cut. It is a marketing gimmick. My fringe is extremely thick at the ends… which looks weird and it doesn’t frame my face properly as it should.”
