“Really disappointing experience I used to regularly visit this outlet when Emily worked here, and she was a great hairstylist — very patient and always made sure to understand exactly what I wanted. After she left, I started going to the Punggol Coast Myeongdong outlet instead, where I’ve had much better experiences. I recently came back to the Oasis Mall outlet and was extremely disappointed. I have silky, smooth and very straight hair, and I specifically asked for long layers and long curtain bangs while keeping most of my length. The hairstylist barely looked at my inspo pictures and immediately said that layers wouldn’t be possible because my hair is too straight. I’ve had layers before with no issue, so I don’t understand why he couldn’t even try to achieve what I requested. Communication was also very difficult as he barely spoke English, and I felt that he wasn’t really listening to what I was asking for. Despite repeatedly telling him not to take off much length, he continued cutting my hair shorter. The haircut was also completed within just a few minutes, whereas my usual haircuts take considerably longer because of my thick hair and the layering. The final result is very uneven, with one side noticeably shorter than the other, and the bangs and layers are nothing like what I requested. Very disappointing experience, especially compared to the service I previously received from Emily. I would give 0 stars if Google allowed it.”
