“Had the most wonderful experience at Suchehwa By Ted on Penang Road. Ted personally cut my hair and spent close to two hours on it, the level of care and precision was honestly next level. I have very long, thick hair and wanted more movement to make styling easier day to day, and the before and after speaks for itself, so much more shape and lift without losing the lengthup I wanted to keep. “I did a dermal scalp treatment by the lovely Jenna and a haircut by the beautiful Remi. The place is so open, spacious and beautifully decorated - it feels like a fairytale. I have NEVER experience this full on head, neck and shoulder massage (thank you Jenna!) in a salon. It wasn't a touch and go, it was a full on course and I felt so relaxed after. I didn't have to move much, the chair turns and recline, they put a blanket over me so I wouldn't feel cold. The chair was so comfortable. Remi made my hair looks so healthy and volumized, it covered my bald patch. She was so nice and gentle. I trust her with my hair! Guess this will be my go-to salon. Everyone should try atleast once 🥹❤️”

“First time trying out Suchehwa by Ted. Honest review here. I am glad I found such a salon ever since I came back to Singapore. As a DJ, I really wanted a good hairstylist who can do korea style. I am glad I found Gene and Suchehwa by Ted. When I first contacted them, they were extremely responsive. They reply quickly. Less thn an hour for each reply. Then on appointment day, I reached 1 hr and a half earlier, so I asked if I could come in earlier and Joanne the online consultant told me I could, which is what I really needed as I have a dinner meeting with a friend around the area later. When I reached there, I was immediately offered drinks by Joanne. There was a huge variety to choose from such as different sorts of teas, coffee and others. I felt like a special guest right away. I was then brought to a very comfy seat at the extreme inside with a beautiful mirror with awesome floor windows. The surrounding decor from the floral surroundings to the chandelier lightings, everything felt so artsy and done to the details. Following up, Jessie did the hair wash. It was so soothing. The shampoo that was used on me had this mint which made my head feel cool in the hot weather. It also smelled great. The massage was so good that I almost fell asleep. I was even offered a blanket in case I was cold. The temperature of the water is just right. The hair wash was so thorough that my hair felt light and clean after. Lastly, about the haircut. I had Gene. Gene was amazing in everyway. He listened to all my requests, and as I said, being a DJ I had specific requirements, Gene did everything I wanted perfectly. He gave life to my frizzy dull hair and restored its beauty. He was so detailed that he make sure my hair looks good from all angles such as sides, front and back. To the point I really felt bad as there was one point where I thought he was kneeling behind the chair just to get that accurate and correct trim for my hair at the back especially the shape we discussed. To top it off, Gene was also a good listener and we even had a great time talking about korea. I will definitely come back again and thank you! Yours sincerely, ARISS”
