“It was the best experience ever. He listened and explained what is good for you. Came in initially for a fringe c-curl rebonding. But he didn’t recommend I’d do that since I have very curly hair. It’ll look weird. So decided to go for a hair cut and it was amazing. Cut was precise and timing was good. Didn’t take long. Definitely would recommend. Left the salon feeling amazing! He even did a c-curl blow out lasting a day (it’ll be gone after the wash) so that I can have a look at how I’ll look like. Really appreciated that gesture. Will definitely visit this place again”

“I visited this salon on 14 Feb 2026 and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I showed Minky a photo of the exact hairstyle I wanted. It was the same style I had previously done at a Korean salon in Korea. She only took a quick glance at it before starting the haircut. The whole process felt rushed and almost panicky. Midway through, she abruptly left and asked her male assistant to wash my hair. The hair wash was uncomfortable. His hand did not properly supported my neck and water dripped down my back. It was quite obvious from my body language that I was uncomfortable, but he was nonchalant. The wash itself was not thorough, and the towel drying was also rough and unpleasant. The female assistant who helped with the cape and plastic cover did so without any communication or smile. Both assistants did not verbally communicate throughout. After that, the male assistant half-dried my hair before Minky returned to finish. When she was done, she only showed me the front view in the mirror and did not show me the back. The entire session felt very rushed and my hair looked nothing like the reference photo. I accepted it at that moment because the rushed and panicky atmosphere made me anxious. After leaving the salon, I realised one side of my hair was still wet. When I re-washed my hair at night, I was shocked to find that it was unevenly cut and the right side is slightly longer than the left, and the back is very flat. It honestly looks like a haircut done by a trainee stylist. There was a clear lack of focus on customer experience throughout the entire session. It honestly felt like they were more concerned about completing the service quickly and collecting payment, rather than ensuring quality workmanship or customer satisfaction. This was absolutely not worth the $80 price tag. With CNY approaching, I now have no choice but to tie my hair up and spend more money at another salon to have it corrected. Very disappointed.”

“I had a wonderful experience at Unnie Salon! The atmosphere was friendly, and I really appreciated that there was no hard selling. Minky, the lady boss and stylist, gave me professional and honest advice. Since my hair is thin and can’t hold a strong C curl, she suggested a style that would add volume without making it look too curly or dated. What I love most is that Minky personally handled my hair from start to finish — unlike other salons where you get passed around to different stylists. She is very skilful and delivered exactly what I wanted. My haircut and perm turned out great, and the spa treatment was so relaxing, especially with their high-end machines and massage chair. This was my first time visiting a Korean salon in Singapore, and I’m glad I found such a good one with reasonable prices. I’ll definitely be back!”
