“Disappointing experience I recently had an Inai manicure for $28, along with a separate $15 gel removal service. Unfortunately, the henna colour on my nails turned out uneven, and I was disappointed with the overall result. I contacted the salon to share my concern and requested a refund for the $28 Inai manicure. To be fair, they did offer a retouch, but I declined as I was not comfortable having the service redone after the initial experience. They then offered to refund only 50% of the Inai colour, explaining that the manicure portion had already been completed. I understand their perspective, but I feel this does not fully address my concern, as the Inai manicure was purchased as a complete service and the issue was with the overall result. I would also like to clarify that I am NOT requesting a refund for the separate $15 gel removal service, as I acknowledge that this service was completed. I don’t usually complain or ask for refunds, and I would much rather have had a good experience and left a positive review. I have tried to resolve this directly with the salon, but unfortunately I have not received a response to my follow-up messages. I hope the salon can take this feedback constructively and improve the consistency of their Inai manicure service, as well as their communication when customers raise genuine concerns.”

“Very disappointing experience at Shimmer & Shine, Oasis. The salon was cramped, cluttered and dirty, which made the entire visit uncomfortable and far from relaxing. The nail colours used also seemed cheap and poor in quality, as they chipped very easily and did not last as expected. The Vietnamese staff member who attended to me was unfriendly and had a poor attitude, which made the experience even more unpleasant. On top of that, there were so many hidden and additional charges added to the package. What initially seemed reasonably priced ended up costing much more than expected. Overall, the service, cleanliness and quality did not justify the amount paid. Definitely not worth the money, and I will not be returning.”
