“Been coming here regularly for about a year and have always had a good experience. Elaine is my usual manicurist and she’s very attentive, careful and professional. I’m quite particular about my nails, especially the shape, quality of work and overall finish, and so far I’ve been very happy with the services and treatments here. The other staff are also friendly and professional, and the shop is always clean and well maintained. I especially appreciate that whenever I have an urgent nail issue or need help, they’re very responsive and will always try their best to accommodate me. Really love the consistent service over the past year. Would definitely recommend this place! 💕”

“Update: Thank you for your response. However, I stand by my original account and would like to address the points raised. Following my visit, I telephoned and spoke with the manager, describing the same issues outlined in my review. She acknowledged the concerns and confirmed she would raise the matter with staff — it is therefore disappointing to see this now being disputed. To clarify the sequence of events: at no point did the technician ask whether I was experiencing heat from the drill. I raised the issue with her directly on three separate occasions, each time in relation to a different nail, and each time she continued buffing — both manually and with the electronic file. Regardless of what your protocol is, the outcome is that my natural nails have been buffed down to the point of being paper thin and soft, with the nail bed visible through them. This is the direct result of what occurred during that appointment, and no review of CCTV footage changes that outcome. I would also note that footage cannot demonstrate the resulting condition of my nails — that is something I am documenting separately. I firmly disagree with the characterisation of events in your response, and I am concerned that it implies I have been untruthful. They were gossiping in the back rooms which was located next to my seat. Given that you have stated the footage was reviewed twice, I would appreciate a copy of that footage being emailed to me for my own records. I look forward to your response. Original review: I have been to the Nailist several times, and the service is normally good, but my recent experience was awful. I asked for shellac removal and a pedicure. I had to tell the technician three times that it was getting too hot when she filing and buffing using the electronic tool and manual buffer. My nails which are normally healthy and thick are now ruined. They are thin as paper and so soft that you can see through the nail to the darker pink underneath. The customer service was also unacceptable. The technician was gossiping about my leg her to two of her colleagues in Chinese, assuming I could not understand her. It is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful, and I expect more from an establishment that charges premium prices for their services. I will not be returning and I would recommend another salon.”
