“I have been going to this nail salon for almost six months now. I always request nail art, and I'm very particular about how my nails are handled because I wear them for an entire month. During my recent visit, I showed them a reference photo of a red nail design and asked if they could do it. They confidently said yes. They asked me to choose a red polish, and I even asked which shade was the closest to the reference. I trusted their recommendation because I was busy attending business calls throughout my appointment. As usual, I requested my nails to be trimmed. Unfortunately, the new nail artist filed them far too short. By the time I realised it, there was nothing that could be done. She then asked if I was okay with it. Honestly, what difference would my answer make at that point? My nails weren't going to grow back immediately. She then attempted the design I had requested, but it looked nothing like the reference photo. I have always asked beforehand whether a design can be done. If it isn't possible, just be honest. I would rather choose another design than waste my time sitting there for something that cannot be achieved. What disappointed me even more was that the new nail artist blamed me for choosing the wrong shade of red. I had already shown the reference picture. As the professional, shouldn't you recommend the closest matching colour instead of shifting the blame to the customer? After almost 1.5 hours, they had to remove the entire set and start all over again. By then, I was so frustrated that I simply chose a random colour just to get it over with and leave. I consider myself a very reasonable customer. I rarely complain, and I understand that mistakes happen. However, getting my nails done is one of the few moments I have each month to relax and enjoy some "me time." As a mother who runs a courier business, my time is extremely valuable. When my nails are done poorly, I'm the one who has to look at them every single day for the next month. To make matters worse, I was later told that the boss does not want to pressure their staff to do my nails anymore. That's perfectly fine. I can easily find another nail salon. What disappoints me is the way a loyal customer of almost six months was treated. Customer service isn't just about completing a service. It's about taking responsibility when things go wrong and making your customers feel valued. Sadly, I did not experience that here. Please take note before visiting. This was my experience, and unfortunately, it has left me very disappointed.”

“If I have to rate and gatekeep, this is the only nail salon I would go in Singapore. My nail extensions and paint lasted forever and my nails are not brittle”

“After 8 years at the same nails salon, I decided to not renew my package so that I can try others and find new colors. Walked around bugis street level 3 looking for any salon with slots on a weekday at 630pm and stopped at Thuy Nail Salon as the prices for classic gel manipedi were good. I did French tip and added overlay and it was done super well!”

“Thuy Nail Salon is not only friendly but also highly skilled. My gel manicure lasted for four weeks with no chips! They really took the time to ensure my nails were not just pretty, but also healthy. It's refreshing to find a salon that doesn't push extra services on you. Highly recommend this nail salon with a heart to anyone who wants to be pampered".”
